My fotovisura exhibition tour in New York turns out a multi tasked one. From Brooklyn photoville festival to covering corporate, indian cultural show and model shoot in busy street of Time Square.Meeting with the photo editor of New York Times,Businessweek and Time.Attending several Bar-b-q party, dawat, long drive, deshi flavored restaurant feast hosted by some wonderful Bengali family living in New York. Starting a new personal photography project out of nowhere to exciting Niagara tour in an instant decision was best part.
Lost in subways with the help of GPS,buying a bicycle to ride a 33 kilometers picturesque way to beautiful Long island beach, bath and collecting some stones from blue Atlantic ocean and walking back home on a shivering cold night from train station is so memorable.
Visiting Statue of Liberty,Central park,Niagara and some other touristic places like a tourist was fun.
My tour was fulfilled when I stood in front of Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh at MoMa.Was so excited to see those great masters work.Van Gogh,Pablo Picasso,Paul Cezanne,Claude Monet,Henry Mattise,Frida Kahlo,Andy Warhol,Rothko,Jackson Pollak the list is so very exciting.
Last but not the least my tour from 16 September to 7 October 2013,wouldn't be wonderful without my student/brother Hasib and his wonderful family. They wouldn't let me felt that I am away from home.
Special thanks to Hasib,Aunty for her motherly care and awesome deshi food,Sheuly apa,Mamun vai and their kids for wonderful hospitality.
Sourav and all those lovely family/kids who helped me to start my project in USA.
Shagor for all his support arranging Niagara tour and giving me time from his busy Schedule (driving almost 160 kilos for couple of days just to see me was wonderful).
